I come from IT and operations leadership, not a consulting deck. That's why I think differently about automation for mid-market operators.
I started in healthcare IT. As a Technical Consultant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System (1999–2005), I built J2EE architecture for a 1,000-bed hospital's clinical systems — high-stakes, high-complexity, zero tolerance for downtime.
From there I moved into IT leadership at Teranet/Do Process (2008–2019), first as IS Manager and then Senior IT Manager, running 25+ person development, QA, and architecture teams. I drove the DevOps program's funding from $700K to $3M, introduced Agile and SCRUM discipline where there had been none, and helped triple Do Process's revenue after acquisition. In between, I spent time as a Senior Technical Project Manager at PointClickCare (2006–2008) building healthcare interfaces.
Since 2020, I've been Managing Director of Abrisuite, leading sales, marketing, HR, and project delivery strategy. Alongside that, I founded and now run Olyra as Founder & CEO — an AI strategy, governance, and implementation company with offices in Miami and São Paulo, serving clients across North and South America. The pattern across every role: the biggest bottleneck was rarely the team. It was almost always the process.
Mid-market operators are in a hard spot. You're too big to run on spreadsheets and manual handoffs, but usually not big enough to have a dedicated automation function. Every hour your team spends manually matching invoices, reconciling data across systems, or rebuilding the same report is an hour not spent on the work that actually grows the business.
Hyperautomation — AI, RPA, and BPA working together — fixes that. But only if you approach it operationally: clean data first, bounded pilots, honest measurement, and change management that brings your team along instead of blindsiding them.
I believe data is the fuel and AI is the engine. Neither works without the other, and neither replaces the judgment of the people who actually run the business.
BSc Computer Science, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (1987–1990); BBA Business Administration, Universidade Federal do Paraná (1991–1993).
Healthcare systems, legal-tech, mid-market SaaS. Different scale, same operating principle: fix the process before you automate it.
Not a vendor, not a tool evangelist. Someone who has run development teams, IT departments, and now a full operations function.
Prosci ADKAR-based change management. Automation rollouts fail on adoption more often than on technology — I plan for that from day one.
I'm based between Miami and São Paulo, Brazil, serving clients across North America and Brazil. Remote by default. If you need an in-person engagement — workshops, kickoff meetings, or just sitting down across the table — I can travel.
This advisory practice isn't a side project or a slide-deck opinion — it's backed by a real, operating AI company I founded and run. Olyra is an AI strategy, governance & implementation partner with offices in Miami and São Paulo, Brazil, serving clients across North and South America in English, Portuguese, and Spanish (I also work in French). Olyra's engagements average a 23% operational efficiency gain within 120 days, most clients seeing their first measurable win within 30 — using a structured four-phase method known as the Olyra 120: Assess, Illuminate, Accelerate, Expand.
When a project moves from strategy into build, I don't start from a blank page. Olyra maintains a live catalog of 81 pre-built, production-ready AI agent modules spanning 14 business functions — finance and accounting, documents and data, email and communication, intake and onboarding, sales and CRM, operations and workflow, knowledge and support, reporting and analytics, compliance and risk, procurement and supply chain, field service and manufacturing, customer experience and retention, marketing, and HR and people — plus voice agents and computer-use/browser agents for legacy systems with no API. See the full module catalog. You get fractional leadership and a tested execution engine behind it, without hiring either one full-time.
I'm not here to tell you automation is magic. I'm here to help you find 2–3 high-impact automation opportunities in your operation, validate them, implement them properly, and move your numbers within 90 days. Then we do it again for the next wave.
That's the job. Not hype. Implementation.
